Craighead SBR Dreamland
The Nairobi Incident (January 2019) While Craighead was in Kenya to help train local security forces, jihadi militants from al-Shabaab attacked the DusitD2 hotel complex in Nairobi. The Action: Though off-duty, Craighead kitted up with gear from his vehicle and entered the complex. He was famously photographed wearing a balaclava, a tactical vest, and civilian clothes (notably Armani jeans). Impact: He is credited with leading the clearance of the building, personally neutralizing at least two terrorists, and helping to save over 700 lives. Honors: For his extreme bravery, he was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross (CGC), the UK's second-highest military honor for valor in combat.
While the rifles arrive from TYPE-A bare, we’ve curated a "DreamLand" package to help you complete the look and feel of the Nairobi legend:
- The Glass: We’ve added the SIG Romeo4T—the exact red dot Craighead used to stay zeroed through the chaos.
- The Can: While not the clone-correct suppressor, we’ve paired this with the AAC Ranger 5. It’s compact, rugged, and guaranteed to sound incredible.
